Heading out to Alcova to hunt for Pterosaur footprints. It is a short hike along the Cottonwood Creek Dinosaur Trail to the top of the ridge that affords wonderful views of the area. Along the way there are signs explaining the geology and fossil and, of course, pterosaur footprints.
There's footprints in them thar hills!
This is a fun trail to hike on but it can get hot, bringing some water is recommended.
