Dubois (DEW-boyz) is a small town on the Wind River between Lander and Grand Teton National Park. At Dubois the land transitions from arid cliffs of many colors to alpine high country.
We took a drive up Horse Creek Road which leaves from the downtown of Dubois and heads north. It is beautiful country! These are the distant Absarokas viewed not too far from town.
